Why I have bought a cycle?
I am software engineer, working daily for 9-10 hours in front of computer but only mental work, no physical exercise. My daily routine is to getup in the morning, get ready for work, go to office by bike, come back, eat and sleep. Due to this routine, many lifestyle problems like indigestion, gas, tiredness, laziness are stated with me. In spite of not doing any hard work, in the night time I was filling very tired.
In mean time, there was “Save Environment – Go Green” program happened in our office. In this one of the events was “Go Cycling – Benefit of Cycling”. I have volunteered for this event. As part of this, we have a road show kind of event where we have to form different – different formation during cycling. We were around 25 participants and stared practicing for this – daily around 1 hour. We continued it for around 20 days. First 2-3 days I felt very tired after practice but then it become routine. Surprising for me after around 15 days, I noticed that my indigestion and gas problem was reduced drastically. I was feeling very fresh.
During “Save Environment – Go Green” program, we had an expert lecture describing benefits of cycling. It will save petrol so benefited for our environment as well as it is very good exercise for out health. So from inspired from this event and by observing its benefit, I have decided to buy a cycle. Now weekly 2-3 days, I go to office by cycle --- doing little bit for my health and our environment.
